Studio AE From Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Welcome to the first ever Technique Tuesday Studio AE Blog Hop! Today the Studio AE team is joining up with Ali Edwards to show some projects we made with April's Studio AE stamp set. The new stamp set from Ali and Technique Tuesday is called "Its In the Details by Ali Edwards". The set consists of 13 clear stamps and works great for scrapbook pages as well as cards. The set ships to Studio AE members between the 10th and the 15th. Non Studio AE members can also purchase the set for a limited time through the Technique Tuesday website. Some retailers are also now offering the Studio AE stamp sets for purchase. Check with your favorite retailer for more details about that. Here is the project I worked up with the stamp set: Its a mini book. It measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", which is just slightly larger than the tag stamp included in the set. I used Technique Tiles for the covers. I cut the tiles with my trimmer and used scissors to round the corners, and the Crop-a-Dile to punch the holes. The tile covers are inked with Ranger Distress Antique Linen using the Ranger foam blending tool. I used Memento Tuxedo Black, Cottage Ivy, and Danube Blue inks for the stamping and a Copic R29 marker to fill in the letters. Here are the first 2 pages: For the first page I used a white gel pen to fill in the letters. For the second page I used Palette Beaux Arts Blue ink to stamp the tag. The photos were taken with the Hipstmatic app on my phone and printed sized at 1 1/2" square. Here are the 3rd and 4th pages. I used Palette Giverney Green ink to stamp the 2nd tag. And here it is again.
Please check out the blogs of Ali and all of Technique Tuesday's Studio AE team members taking part in today's blog hop to see more ways to use the new set.

Laura (that's me!)

Leave a comment on one or all of their blogs by midnight PST on April 12th. We'll pick 2 people from the comments received on all six of the blogs to receive the You Always Know stamp set by Ali Edwards. The more comments you leave, the better chance you have to win.

The winners will be announced on the Technique Tuesday Facebook page on April 13th so be sure to check it out.

Thnks for stopping by our blogs today and for taking part in the hop!

hi Monica, not sure if you will check back here but what I did was email the pictures to myself, then open them in Elements, resize them to 1 1/2" and place each one on the same 4" x 6" canvas, then print and cut out.
