Parasol Lady Release Day

Its release day at Cornish Heritage Farms. For today there is a beautiful single image stamp from the B&O Railroad line, Parasol Lady.

This is my first successful attempt at crackle!

I tried crackle a few months ago on some vintage images I downloaded and printed. What happened was when the paper got wet the ink turned to soup, and then it crackled up beautifully but the underlying image was all soupy. This one did a lot better with the Memento ink and Copics. I also used the Vintage Chintz backgrounder stamp and a sentiment from Mothers Day Centers.

And here is a card made with the Emerging Hibiscus set that was released last week. Its just simply stamped, then painted with Mod Podge and coated with crystal coarse glitter.

So Mothers Day is on Sunday, but you all have my permission to go ahead and start celebrating now!

Thanks for visiting.

Supplies: (1) CHF Parasol Lady, Vintage Chintz, and Mothers Day Centers; Memento Angel Pink and Tuxedo Black; Ranger Rock Candy crackle medium; Gunmetal Stickles; Prima pearl embellishment; gingham ribbon.

(2) CHF Emerging Hibiscus; Memento Ladybug and Tuxedo Black; Martha Stewart Crafts Crystal Coarse Glitter; handmade paper.
