Get Sketchy

The first sketch is up at the Get Sketchy blog!

This card was so quick and easy because (1) I followed a sketch,

and (2) I had a bunch of these Purple Onion butterflies that I embossed on vellum earlier this week,

and (3) some brand new American Crafts Character goodies from my Moxie Fab win (thanks, Cath!).

I was also inspired by my friend Amy's take on the sketch. She and a few of the other girls on the DT made their cards interactive, and I also added an Amy inspired sentiment I've seen her use several times "HB2U".

Happy Friday!

Supplies: Purple Onion butterfly stamp; SU! black craft ink; Ranger EP; Martha Stewart Crafts vellum; American Crafts textured black cardstock; American Crafts Character line patterned papers and alpha stickers.

Wow your version of this sketch is amazing....I love how interactive it is. I don't know if this inspires me to try harder or just throw in the towel because whatever I come up with will pale in comparison. Beautifully done.

I'm envious of your card! The fact that you have the time and patience to cut the butterfly by hand. I bow down to you!
